Autumnal birthday biscuits

These delicious little morsels were made for my wonderful friend Jill. She's one of the strongest, awe inspiring women I've been lucky to meet.

Creating these biscuits is quite hard work. My hands ache afterwards. I think they're worth it though. The effects are brilliant. I love the little spots on the leaves.

You can almost hear the rustle of the leaves.

Happy 60th Jill! X

  2. They look scrumptious ... the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea. I've fallen in love (big time) with orange & almond cake. It goes soooo well with Earl Grey (must be the bergamot?) and a real bonus - my recipe uses 6 eggs! I have chickens and they produce the most glorious eggs so I love that I'm able to make a cake with extra goodness in it.
I think Jill is one lucky lady :-) Have a super day!
